I have spent the better part of a decade reporting on social issues and social movements in Latin America. This newsletter will bring you insights into what is happening in the Amazon rainforest and beyond. It will tell you how women are organizing for social transformation, and about the obstacles that stand in their way. And since I’ve also been dividing my time between Brazil and Wisconsin, you may also get stories about America’s Dairyland.

This newsletter is a space for me to work out some ideas, tell stories that may not have another home, and to share glimpses of social and political struggles.
